Laura is a journalist and photographer born in Barcelona. Her path and sensibility has led her to connect with different languages of artistic expression, developing her as a multidisciplinary artist. Throughout her life she has connected deeply with the art and legacy of Indigenous communities. She tells us that Indigenous art inspires her for its purity, authenticity and implicit wisdom. “In this expression there is no pretense, it is simply a path of deep connection with nature and life.” The symbolic language characteristic of Indigenous art is something that has always inspired her. For this reason, joining with Xapiri Ground has been organic and in this space she has found a point of connection and purpose with the art of the communities and her own artistic expression.
